Sea Spikes
With its origins in nature, each rustic sea spike- a repurposed tree trunk- is an original work. For hundreds of years, fishing villages were built on buried tree trunks off the coast of Thailand. As water levels drop during low tide season or storms hit the area, the exposed trunks become a hazard to local fisherman and need to be removed. The unique texture is the result of years of water erosion.
